Notification of AgriBus-NAVI application version upgrade(v3.8.9)

Today, we’ve begun distributing new versions 3.8.9 of AgriBus-NAVI app to Google Play store.

The following functions have been added and changed. Everyone who uses the app, please check it.

The mount point status at the time of correction information acquisition was added to GNSS status window.

In GNSS/GPS Status window that appears when you tap GNSS status in the upper-right corner of the navigation window, the status of the Internet connection and Ntrip mount point have been added.

This is only displayed when AgriBus-NAVI app is acquiring corrections while AgriBus-GMiniR is connected.The same indication on the G2 is currently being developed, so please wait a little more.

In addition, AgriBus-Caster servers were upgraded on the server side about two weeks ago, and there are often high workloads of several seconds to ten minutes, but they have been operating stable for at least two weeks.If you cannot connect, check the Internet connection status and the online status of the mount point you want to connect to.

In addition, the retry process has been improved in this update, assuming that the communication status is not good.

If “Connection failed” is displayed, no further retries are performed. When the communication status improves, change “GNSS retrieval source” from GMiniR to “Use the built-in GNSS of the terminal” and return to GMiniR again to restart the connection.Please try this before restarting the app.

Change field creation map from Mapbox to Google map

Due to the limitations of the library we were using, we changed the field creation map engine in the app from Mapbox to Google map.This resulted in the restoration of satellite photographs that were not displayed anymore.

Interim fix for problems with DoCoMo tablets

We have provided a temporary fix for problems with the DoCoMo tablet d-01K and d-02K models.Although there is no actual device at hand, it was not confirmed. However, in the same model, there seemed to be a malfunction around the gyro sensor and the acceleration sensor, and there might have been a problem in the handling of the tilt correction using the sensor in the terminal.

This time, we corrected the tilt correction process using the in-terminal sensor. In particular, if you are using a DoCoMo tablet, please change the setting from the “tilt correction” setting to “no tilt correction”.Note that this setting is only available when GNSS source is set to “Use the built-in GNSS”, so please try again after changing the setting.
